Mexico Mission Trip

REGISTRATION Opens December 1st!

REGISTRATION Opens December 1st!

For over 30 years, MVPC has partnered with Amor Ministries to serve families in need in Mexico by sending our army of servants on a week-long mission trip. We’re excited to invite high school students and adults during spring break to go be the hands and feet of Jesus while building homes and hope for families in Mexico. There is no building experience or church membership required to experience the significant impact a week of service can have on you, your team, and the families in Mexico.

Join us to discover how one week of your life can change a family’s life forever.

IMPORTANT Information

For over 30 years, MVPC has partnered with Amor Ministries to serve families in need in Mexico by sending our army of servants on a week-long mission trip. We’re excited to invite high school students and adults during spring break to go be the hands and feet of Jesus while building homes and hope for families in Mexico. Cost for the trip is $1300. You can choose to pay either by check or credit card and can even spread payments out over time if that is easier for you. Scholarships are available!

The registration cost covers Amor Ministries registration fee, construction materials to build the house, meals in Mexico, transportation via charter bus, advance leadership team expenses, and a team t-shirt.

Parents, we would love to have you join us as well! You can join us for the whole week by completing registration here or you can join our Fly/Drive Team for the end of the week by registering here.

TRAVEL PROTECTION OPTIONS

If you are interested in resources to protect your travel expenses due to unforeseen trip cancellations, trip interruptions, accidents, etc., you can purchase travel insurance or charge your registration using a credit card that provides travel protection benefits. If you are paying by check, you may protect your trip expenses with affordable travel insurance. You can get a quote here

If you are paying by credit card, contact your credit card benefits department to find out what types of travel protection you have.

The types of travel protection vary depending on the credit card, and some have annual fees. You can learn about some popular credit cards offering different travel protection levels here. However, there are several other resources, and we recommend that you research your protection options on your own to suit your individual preferences and circumstances.

SERVICE CREDIT

Your participation counts as service hours, and you can receive volunteer service credit. MVPC is happy to complete your school district’s Volunteer Service Hours Verification Form.

SAFETY

Our Mexico Medical Team strongly recommends that every participant is fully vaccinated and boosted with a COVID-19 vaccine. MVPC adheres to CDC guidance and will continue to monitor CDC’s website for updates.
